Four Nights. Four Concerts. Four Missoula venues. Four benefitting organizations!

Hello Everyone,

After a two year absence I'm back doing December benefit concerts, this time accompanied by cellist Jennifer Slayden and percussionist Ed Stalling! They add a great energy to the concerts, and we've done one already: a beautiful evening in Whitefish, Montana at the Whitefish United Methodist Church to benefit Samaritan House in Kalispell.

Starting Tuesday, we'll have a show in Helena and then four "fours." Four performances in Four nights at Four completely different venues for Four different benefitting organizations!

Tuesday, December 13th, 7:00 p.m., St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Helena, Family Promise of Greater Helena Benefit, Generous donations encouraged

Thursday, December 15th, 7:30 p.m., Zootown Arts Community Center, Poverello Center Benefit, Tickets at https://showroom.zootownarts.org

Friday, December 16th, 7:00 p.m., Longstaff House, Soft Landing Benefit, Generous donations encouraged

Saturday, December 17th, 6:00 p.m.. Imagine Nation Brewing, Missoula Youth Homes Benefit, Generous donations encouraged including a complimentary beverage for each contribution to MYH

Sunday, December 18th, First United Methodist Church, 7:00 p.m., Missoula Interfaith Collaborative Benefit, (Duet concert with Jennifer Slayden and John Floridis). Generous donations encouraged.

We will be performing material from my two seasonal releases “December’s Quiet Joy” and “The Peaceful Season” both of which feature fingerstyle acoustic guitar arrangements of traditional Christmas/Winter melodies, as well as original compositions.

The trio also includes seasonal vocal tunes, both original and by other artists such as Bruce Cockburn, Patty Larkin, Ben Harper and John Gorka in the performance. The songs feature lyrics speaking to the journey from darkness to light, seasonally, emotionally and spiritually.

The concerts welcome the audience to escape the frantic stress that too often pervades the holiday season and relax in an intimate listening environment with music to warm the heart and soul.

As always, I'm indebted to you all for your support,

John
